"Sex, Muscles, Humour, Thuggary… Uan"

Featuring 13 full colour images of Toothill's most beautiful resident, the official 2006 calendar of Uan Harrison is a tongue in cheek pastiche of celebrity calendars which was created to raise money for local charities and voluntary organisations.

The calendar contains pictures of Uan, 24, in various poses around Swindon, usually dressed only in his leopard print thong (which, sadly, he had owned a while before the idea of a calendar was even raised) with each page containing facts, quotes and song recommendations. All the photographs were taken by Uan’s friend Ben Biddiscombe, also 24, who in addition designed the layout of the calendar as well as the accompanying website. "Ben is the brains and mouth of the outfit" says Uan "...but I'm happier being known as the T&A".

Unfortunately the cost of having the calendar mass produced was very prohibitive and Uan and Ben were unable to find any sponsorship from local companies. Which is disappointing considering the 20 copies that were initially produced went down incredibly well with everyone who saw them, regardless of whether they knew Uan or not.

However thanks to local publications and through word of mouth many Swindonians are aware of Uan and his calendar so hopes are high that come Christmas 2006 there will be a calendar of Uan in every home in Swindon, with ALL the proceeds going to local causes.
